Thaba Nchu butchery traces its roots back to 1975, when the first butchery was opened in Thaba Nchu. This was followed by the first factory in 1988. Due to the high demand for our top quality processed meat products, a purpose-built factory was completed in 2002. The wholesale and retail departments are run from the original factory and sell directly to the public.

Sky Country Meats is the holding company for the registered trademark and logo.

We specialize in quality fresh and processed meat products that are manufactured in our world class factory. Our quality products are distributed by sales representatives and agents in all provinces of South Africa.

Sky Country is an independently audited and registered vendor to export to all SADC countries.

It is our aim to fully promote the socio-economic improvement of all our citizens in our region.

We maintain this through local purchases and employment of 550 people in our three processing plants that deliver nationally and internationally in excess of 120 000kg of products daily.

Our standard of quality is achieved solely by dedicated staff who work in a stable and friendly environment. All our employees form part of the Sky Country family.

Our client base includes schools, hospitals, catering companies, take-away franchises, wholesalers and recognized retail stores and own franchised stores or agents.
